The coincidence rate of violence against individuals with disabilities is much higher than against those without disabilities. The VERA Institute of Justice’s End Abuse website aims to bridge the gap between Disability organizations and Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Rape Crisis organizations – with the goal of increasing access to quality services and lowering the incidence of abuse. This project entailed full scale concept, wireframe and design solutions.
As part of my experience at Vistaprint, I was responsible for managing the user experience strategy, design and research efforts for the design customization portion of the Vistaprint online experience. This included a large scale redesign of the customization experience for 50+ products across 25 locales. The new studio environment was a better match for customer expectations, leading to in increase in conversion of 2.5% over the previously existing version, as evidenced through multivariate testing. Project efforts included:
- Advocating for the use of co-design methodology in uncovering customer insights.
- Conducting visioning sessions with cross-functional product development teams.
- Leading user experience design efforts from concept through production.
